Spencer Ewald,
Senior Vice President, M&A Consulting
Spencer has served on Next Coast Media’s Board of Advisors since 2010. He also served as the CEO of Inbox Health, a SaaS software company in the medical payment space. He successfully completed the Angel and Seed round financing of over a $2.5MM and was responsible for the P&L and day-today operations.
Previous to Inbox Health he was the Co-Founder and President of Nxtbook Media, LLC (NBM) a pioneer in the software for digital magazines and catalogs commonly found on mobile devices today. Responsible for launching NBM, he organically grew the company to $7 million in sales, making the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing small companies in America. The company was also named the best place to work in Pennsylvania several times.
Before NBM, Ewald was the former Senior Vice President of the business technology magazines division for Freedom Communications, where he directed sales and held margin responsibility over numerous magazines, websites, and trade show assets and sat on the Executive Committee. Spencer is based in Madison, CT.

Steve Mezak,

Steve Mezak specializes in creating transformative deals and alliances in the Nearshore services space and beyond. He helps entrepreneurs acquire life-changing wealth through creation of new relationships, while also helping others grow through acquisition and make valuable investments in Latin American software/IT service and BPO companies.

Across a span of more than 30 years in Silicon Valley, Steve co-founded several startups including Accelerance, the premier authority on global software engineering. And he wrote the books "Software without Borders" and the business fable novel "Outsource or Else!" along the way. Steve profited from three major acquisitions (Aspect Development, which sold to i2 for $9 Billion, Digital Market, sold to Agile Software for $75 Million and finally Accelerance in 2019).
